More than a century of aviation experience combined makes the difference.

The concept and origins

Taxiway Lima

Taxiway Lima has evolved to a partnership that supports governments and the aviation industry of developing and emerging nations with relevant operational and strategic expertise, mainly during start-up and turn-around processes. We always provide accountability and flexibility by industry veterans.

Taxiway Lima core markets

What does set us apart from our competition? We specialize in start-ups and change management projects in developing and emerging countries. By focusing on such a relatively small market, we pride to call ourselves experts. Experts that have been there, numerous times and long enough to realize that not every organization has the expertise in-house in order to progress to the next level. All our consultants possess a wealth of first and second line management experience in the aviation industry. We do not employ straight-out-of-university rookies so you always can rely on solutions that worked for us in the past and are specifically tailored to your individual problem set.

Taxiway Lima was originally established as an aviation think tank, providing strategic, high level directions to governments and the aviation industry. However, over the years, we have found that it is often the individual operator in the aviation value chain that is, due to a variety of reasons, ranging from time to the ever important issue of money, not capable of establishing successfully strategic and operational directives in order to reach the organization's goals.

Thus, we at Taxiway Lima decided to shift our own strategy towards an aviation consultancy, that focuses on the whole aviation value chain, yet, unlike its bigger brothers, by providing only seasoned industry veterans that come with years of industry high level experience. Whatever problem you might face, chances are that one of our consultants wears already the infamous 'been there, done that' t-shirt.

Taxiway Lima value chain

Contrary to other consultancies, we cultivate a culture of flexibility and accountability. In practice, this means that our consultants live around the world and thus can be deployed onto your project much more smoothly and with lesser delay. And, although fully realizing the boundaries of being consultants, we take accountability for our actions. If problems arise as a result of our consulting work, we do not hide behind the 'adviser' role smoke screen only. Instead, we work double as hard to rectify the problem. Again, we come from the seat you are currently occupying so we know the strain your position brings.

Give us a buzz for a free consult on how we may assist your organization in its strive to become the best. After all, isn't that what you really want?
